60th & 30th

What a year for special birthdays! My son was 30, my mother-in-law 90 and my husband 60. My other son’s fiancée was 30 too (her card was blogged earlier as I entered it in a challenge). Hereare  a few photos of the 30th and the 60th cards. I used the Fanciful Flight die again but put the wings...

The Stamp Man Challenge Blog has tempted me with their “Anything By Tim” (as in Holtz) Christmas post. I don’t have many of his stamps – in fact, only the one!, but I used it three times to make it look like more I began by pressing Distress Ink pads (Fired Brick and Peeled Paint)...

At Stamp Club last night I showed the ladies how to do this technique. Some had done it before and it was a nice reminder about how great it can look, others did it for the very first time and produced some fabulous results. The basic instructions I gave: Stamp an image twice onto plain cardstock....
